Lexie's 6th Birthday Party

My beautiful baby girl Alexis Dee Hooley turned 6 years old. I can't believe it. She is such a sweet and beautiful girl. When she was born, she had these big beautiful eyes, as you can see from the pictures above. I was always stopped in the stores by everyone saying, "Look at her eyes!" She is such a good girl. She is so smart. She loves to read and reads so well. She started to read when she was 4 1/2 years old. Looking back at when she was 2 and was discovering books, I remember her siting still for such a long time, looking through books by herself and with me too. My favorite thing about Lexie, is that she hums all the time. She hums while doing her school work, on the computer, playing and when she is laying in her bed trying to go to sleep. She hums herself to sleep every night. It is the sweetest sound. She does it so quiet and it is just so sweet to hear. Such a happy little girl. Her turning 6 has been really hard on me. My baby is 6 and that means she is no longer a baby. But she will always be my baby girl!

Nana gave her balloons with all her favorite colors on them. She loved them. Added a great touch to the party.
My beautiful children. They take such great pictures!

Lexie saw these butterfly stickers at the store and wanted to give everyone a sticker at her party. Such a sweet girl. Kate looked so cute!
I have no idea why this picture is sideways. Tried fixing and no luck.

Posing with her cake.
Everyone singing to her.
Make a wish birthday girl!

Caught you.
Lexie lovin' her birthday cake that she picked out. She wanted a My Little Pony on her chocolate cake, strawberry jam, pink writing with purple frosting on it. She even got her favorite pony on her cake, which is Pinkie Pie. She was one happy girl.
Very excited to open presents. I love this picture.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the jammies.
Thanks Nana and Grandpa Stan for the movie she really wanted.
Nana got her this kit to make a blanket. I made the blanket and it turned out so cute. She loves it.
Looking at her new book from Nana and Grandpa Stan.
Lexie reading her card that her sister made for her. So sweet! You can tell she liked her card.
The whole family rockin' it!!
Sing it Lexie!
Maddie was so funny when they were playing Rock Band. She danced for the longest time. It was so cute.
Rock it Dillon!

Primary Program

This morning was the primary program at church. Primary is for ages 3 to 12 years old. All the kids sing the songs that they have been practing all year. They sounded beautiful. The kids also have little parts that they say with there class in front of everyone. It was a beautiful program. I also had a part too that I had to say because I teach the 11 to 12 year old girls. Here are some pictures of my kids taken before church this morning. Kaitlyn, of course, wasn't in the program, but she looked pretty as always.

Such a silly boy.

Halloween 2009

I LOVE this picture!!! So cute. We had a great Halloween. Dillon had a friend spend the night, the night before. That morning, I started the day with sugar. I made pumpkin shaped chocolate chip pancakes. They were so good.
Aww the 80's. Brought back the big hair days. She was surprised when I told her that I did this to my bands every morning. Her and I had good laughs when I was doing her hair. It was so much fun getting her ready!
We went through her closet and found the perfect clothes for her costume. It was fun!!

Fairy Princess.
I loved her hair and her wings. Pretty little fairy princess.
Yuck. Under there is a really sweet boy. Every year he wants to be the grosses thing he can find at the store. It's kind of a battle to compromise. I don't like gorry things on Halloween.

Playin' the part.
The Candy!!
Yummy. No, I didn't make this cute pizza. Got it at Papa Murphy's. Such a fun thing to get on Halloween. Totally doing it next year.
