I created this blog to use it as a picture journal for family and friends as a little insight into our family life. I have learned that life with my children goes by so fast and we are gonna miss these days. It's moments with them that matter the most. I never want to forget the fun, silly, crazy and blessed life that I have.
Larissa LOVES her cousin Kaitlyn, as you can tell. Larissa wants to be just like Kate. My mom picked Larissa and Kenzi up from preschool and brought them over to play today with my kids. They love coming over to play and my kids were really excited too. When my mom picked Larissa up from preschool, she told my mom that she wanted her to buy her some bows like cousin Kaitlyn has. My mom told me what she said and I told Larissa that I had a lot of ribbon if she would like some for her hair. She was so excited and so went and cut some ribbon so she can use them for bows. She was excited to have the same ribbons as cousin Kaitlyn. That is what she calls Kaitlyn. It is cute. So I told her that I would do her hair and put a ribbon in her hair. She thought her hair was so cute. She told Kaitlyn that she wanted to wear some of her lipstick. So Kate put some on her and I of course had to take a picture of them. They are 2 peas in a pod.
I am a LDS homeschooling mom and married to a handsome man. He works hard for me to be a stay at home mom. He has a new job and works at General Mills...AKA "Cereal Man". I've been homeschooling for 1 year and it's the hardest but most rewarding thing I've ever done. This is the busiest I've ever been, but I'm loving it. I have 3 beautiful children, a cat and a dog. Each and every day I thank Heavenly Father for my beautiful family that I am so blessed with. Everything I do, I do for them.
Kaitlyn is 14 years old and is in the 9th grade. YIKES!! She is such a beautiful young lady. She is a big help to me. She is really girly. She is so talented. She loves to read books, sing, write stories and play the piano. She's been taking piano lessons since February and she is learning how to play so fast. I love listening to her play. She sings in a children's choir for the 6th year now. She has written and published her 1st book at the age of 13 1/2 years old. It's an LDS fictional love story. She worked so hard on her book. She loves hanging out with her friends. I am very proud of her.
Dillon
Dillon is 10 years old. He is in the 5th grade. He is all boy!! He loves all sports. Even when he is in the house, (which isn't very often) you can find him watching ESPN and animal shows. He loves Animal Planet. He never was into cartoons. Soccer, football and basketball are his favorite sports. He is really good at them too. He loves scouts and is now a Webelo. He loves to be outside, doesn't like rainy days, loves to get dirty, and is non-stop fun. He is so easy going and just a happy child with a sweet spirit. He loves to work with his dad. It doesn't matter what the job is, as long as he is helping, then Dillon is happy. He is such a hard worker. He will work with Jason all day until someone tells him that he has to stop. I hope he will always continue with the same hard working drive that he has now.
Alexis
Alexis is 7 years old and is in the 1st grade. She always keeps us laughing. She has a really funny personality. She stays very busy trying to keep up with her sister and brother. She is really girly. She loves bows in her hair, loves the color pink. She is an awesome reader. She reads at a 3rd grade level. She isn't afraid to try anything new. She also likes to sing and is in ballet. She is growing up too fast. She is my baby and it is hard to see her growing up so fast.
New To This........
I started this blog in May 2008 and only wish I had started this earlier. I've been hearing about this whole "Blog Thing" and thought that I would finally take the time to try it out. I think I am finally getting the hang of it, after a few trial and errors. I am hoping to use this blog as a family picture journal. I'm not good at keeping up with my scrapbooks, especially pulling it all out and making a mess everywhere, so this seems to be easier to log in family memories as they happen. I love to take pictures of my family. So you will see many pictures on this blog. It will be fun logging in all of our family memories. I am hoping to get some family and friends into this too, so that we can share pictures of our family.
